SizeKhaya confirms R130m PowerBall jackpot has been won

SizeKhaya, the new operators of South Africa’s national lottery, has confirmed that the R130 million PowerBall jackpot was won on Tuesday evening.

One ticket scoops the top prize

According to SizeKhaya, a single player correctly predicted the five main numbers and the PowerBall bonus ball and won R128,593,394.50.

Winning numbers

The five main numbers were 2, 10, 22, 28 and 49, and the PowerBall bonus ball was 7.

No winner in PowerBall XTRA

There were no winners of the PowerBall XTRA jackpot. The PowerBall XTRA numbers drawn were 4, 12, 27, 35 and 41 with the bonus ball 15.

Jackpots reset for the next draw

Following the win, SizeKhaya says the PowerBall jackpots have been reset for the next draw, which is scheduled for Friday at 21:00 on e.tv and SABC. The PowerBall jackpot now stands at an estimated R7 million, while the PowerBall XTRA jackpot is an estimated R116 million.
