Sizekhaya’s first televised PowerBall draw produced a R130-million jackpot winner, shrinking the next PowerBall prize to R7 million and leaving R116 million available in the PowerBall Xtra pool a combined R123 million for Friday 5 June 2026.

What happened in Tuesday’s draw

The first Sizekhaya televised draw took place on Tuesday 2 June 2026 and produced a R130-million PowerBall winner. The winning numbers from that draw were:

  • Main numbers: 2, 10, 22, 28, 49
  • PowerBall: 7

The PowerBall Xtra numbers from the same draw were listed as: 4, 12, 27, 35, 41 with PowerBall 15.

What’s on offer for Friday 5 June 2026

After the R130-million win, the PowerBall jackpot resets to R7 million for the next draw. The PowerBall Xtra pool stands at R116 million. Combined, those amounts total R123 million for Friday 5 June 2026.

Sizekhaya has made the following changes to the PowerBall and PowerBall Xtra games that apply to upcoming draws:

  • Cost per PowerBall entry: R10.
  • PowerBall Xtra add-on: R5 (required to be in the running for the R116 million).
  • Main number range: players must pick five numbers from 1 to 50.
  • PowerBall range: numbers now run from 1 to 16 (previously 1 to 20).

How to buy tickets and other rules

Ticket purchase options have not changed: tickets can be bought in-store, through a banking app, or by creating an online account with Sizekhaya or using its mobile app. If buying at a lottery outlet, sales close at 20:30 on the day of a draw. Players must be 18 years of age to play.

Claiming winnings

The rules Sizekhaya published for claiming prizes include the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age.
  • Have the winning ticket with the correct serial number.
  • Possess a valid proof of ID.
  • Hold a valid South African bank account (not older than three months).

Other context from the week

The transition from the previous operator, ITHUBA, was noted in the week’s coverage. Sizekhaya inherited a rollover that affected recent draws, and the Lotto and Lotto Plus draw also carries over a R33-million rollover.

Sizekhaya’s offices are based in Sandton, Gauteng.
