Former Western Province fullback Calla Scholtz appears in court over protection order breach

Former Western Province fullback Nicolaas Burgert “Calla” Scholtz has appeared in court on allegations of breaching a domestic violence protection order, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has said.

In 2016 Scholtz was publicly linked to an illicit abalone seizure at his Greyton property. He later established that the residence was occupied by a third-party tenant without his knowledge, the reporting said.
