Springbok fly-half Handré Pollard and his wife Marise are adding to their family — the couple recently announced they are expecting their second child. The joyful reveal was made on Instagram through a touching family video shot in Cape Town.

In the video, their son Hunter proudly wears a “Brother” sweater, hinting that he’ll soon take on the role of big brother. The clip also shows ultrasound images and Marise’s baby bump, making the news official in the most heartfelt way.

Marise captioned the post:
“Our family is growing! Hunter is going to be a big brother and we are beyond excited. God is so good. Our little girl will join us end of October.”

The announcement comes shortly after the Pollards celebrated their son’s first birthday. The couple hosted a joint party for Hunter and a friend’s child, Milan, surrounded by loved ones.

“We got to celebrate Hunter’s first & Milan’s 2nd birthday together yesterday with our friends on this side of the world. We are beyond grateful for you guys and feel so blessed to have each and everyone of you in our lives,” they wrote at the time.
