The Renault Kwid was introduced to South Africa in November 2016 with a starting price of R119,900 making it the most affordable new car available at the time, a title it still holds.
Now, a decade later, Renault has launched the Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition to celebrate.
Based on the mid-spec Techno model, the 10th Anniversary Edition features:
A dual-tone colour scheme: Fiery Red or Shadow Grey with a contrast black roof
Yellow accents on the grille, doors, and C-pillar
“10th Anniversary” decals
Gloss black wheels
Puddle lamps and illuminated scuff plates
Inside, it gets:
Crossway fabric upholstery
A leather-wrapped steering wheel with yellow stitching
Yellow interior trim accents
Model-specific embroidered headrests
The special-edition Kwid is powered by the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine as the standard model.

Torque: 91 N.m
Transmissions: Five-speed manual or five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT)
Fuel consumption (claimed): 4.9 L/100 km
The Renault Kwid 10-Year Anniversary Edition is priced as follows:
Manual: R209,799
AMT: R219,999
That’s R9,800 and R10,000 more than the standard Techno manual and AMT models respectively.
