According to Times Live, the woman, who purchased her R40 ticket manually in Grassy Park, discovered her windfall while watching the April 23 draw live on TV. As each number appeared on the screen, she realised her ticket was a perfect match.

“I watched each of the winning numbers appear, and I could hardly believe what I was seeing. I was holding a ticket that matched every number. A ticket worth more than R13m. I’ve never won anything close to this in my life. It feels unreal,” she said, as quoted in the report.
The lucky winner shared the exciting news with her son and said she’s now looking forward to spending her retirement gardening and investing wisely for long-term comfort. In a gesture of kindness, she also revealed plans to donate part of the money to charity.
