Toddler Fights for Life After Father Fatally Shot in Fordsburg

Johannesburg is reeling after a shocking shooting in Fordsburg left a 38-year-old man dead and his two-year-old son fighting for life in hospital. The attack occurred at rental rooms in Manapyane village on Sunday night. Police said the suspects had allegedly attempted to rob three victims two women and one man before being confronted by local residents.

“One suspect remains under police guard in hospital. Cases of attempted house robbery and murder have been opened,” said Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba.
