Calum Scott to Light Up Pretoria in 2026 with His Biggest South African Tour Yet

UK hitmaker’s first-ever Pretoria show promises a night of goosebumps, tears, and unforgettable anthems
It’s official: Calum Scott is returning to South African soil – and this time, he’s taking the capital by storm.
The multi-platinum British singer-songwriter is bringing The Avenoir Tour to Pretoria in January 2026, marking his first performance ever in the Jacaranda City. The tour, which is set to be his biggest yet, will also include stops in Cape Town and Durban. But it’s the Pretoria leg – set for Saturday, 17 January 2026 at SunBet Arena – that’s stealing the spotlight.

From “Dancing On My Own” to standing ovations in Mzansi
If you’ve ever shed a tear to “You Are The Reason” or belted out his haunting take on Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own,” you already know that a Calum Scott concert hits differently. This isn’t just pop. It’s poetry, wrapped in vulnerability and backed by a voice that can break you in all the best ways.
South African fans have a long-standing love affair with the UK sensation. Since his Only Human tour stop in 2018, Calum’s relationship with local audiences has only deepened. From his 2022 Bridges tour to his return in 2023, every visit has been met with sold-out venues and heartfelt singalongs.
And now, in 2026, he’s returning with a powerful new message and fresh music.

What’s Avenoir all about?
The Avenoir Tour follows the release of Scott’s upcoming third studio album, Avenoir, set to drop on 12 September 2025. The title – a poetic word that describes the act of moving forward while only being able to look back – sets the tone for what promises to be his most introspective and emotionally rich work to date.
In May 2025, Scott gave fans a taste of what’s to come with the tender single “Die For You.” It’s the kind of track that finds you where you are – whether you’re in love, longing, or somewhere in between. With a growing catalogue of soul-baring hits, Avenoir is poised to become the new soundtrack of our highs, lows, and everything in between.
Calum says it best:
“The songs on this album speak to both regret and sorrow, and to undying love – a plea to live life to its fullest.”
Pretoria’s moment in the spotlight
The buzz is already building online. Fans have taken to social media with excitement over the Pretoria debut – a long overdue addition to his South African stops. For those in Gauteng, this is more than just another international concert. It’s a deeply personal, once-in-a-generation moment to witness an artist at the peak of his powers, performing songs that have helped many make sense of life, love, and loss.
Expect more than just a performance. Expect a moment.
