Oktoberfest comes to Victoria Yards this week, bringing craft beers, hearty food and live music to one of Joburg’s most beloved creative precincts.
The industrial courtyard, usually home to artist studios and weekend makers markets, transforms into a relaxed beer garden from Thursday through Sunday, with that signature easy-going Victoria Yards atmosphere intact.
Expect a solid lineup of craft brews alongside festival food to keep you fuelled, plus a soundtrack that keeps the energy up without overwhelming the chilled courtyard setting. It’s the kind of event that works whether you’re rolling through after work or making a proper afternoon of it.
Don’t miss the special Sunday session on 4 October, running from 11:00 to 16:00 a great option if you’d rather enjoy your steins in the daylight with a slower pace.
