A proudly South African day out for the whole family

Looking for the ultimate day out this winter? LIFE Fest Benoni is serving up exactly that on Saturday, 28 June 2025 – a full-blown festival of live music, delicious food, kids’ activities, and a live screening of the Springboks vs Barbarians match.

Set to take place at the Benoni Northerns Indian Baseball Club, this East Rand celebration is just a short drive from Johannesburg – and it’s designed to welcome everyone from toddlers and teens to rugby-loving adults.

Big names, good vibes

LIFE Fest isn’t messing around with the music line-up. Some of South Africa’s most beloved artists will take the stage throughout the day, offering everything from indie-pop to experimental soundscapes.

Confirmed artists include:

  • Matthew Mole – looped folk-pop with serious summer energy

  • Majozi – smooth, upbeat indie pop with heartfelt lyrics

  • Desmond & the Tutus – fun, quirky retro-rock brilliance

  • Tamara Dey – bold and theatrical Kwaito-pop flair

  • CINIMIN – high-energy house with a sleek edge

  • Chrizz Beatz, Juran, Josh Hincks, and Efact round out the day with everything from R&B soul to experimental beats

From midday to sundown, the music promises to be bold, eclectic, and proudly South African.
