It’s official — Grammy award-winning artist Doja Cat is coming to South Africa! The international music star has been announced as the first headliner for the highly anticipated Hey Neighbour Festival 2025, set to take place from 29 to 31 August at Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria.

This marks a major moment for fans, as it will be Doja Cat’s first performance in South Africa — and a meaningful one at that. Born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, the chart-topping singer and rapper is the daughter of South African actor Dumisani Dlamini and has openly embraced her roots.

In fact, she previously honoured her heritage on stage at the Global Citizen Festival in New York, where she performed wearing a dress inspired by the South African flag.
