Police arrested four suspects in Bellville after a takedown of an alleged extortion ring accused of targeting about 50 businesses in Stellenbosch and Khayamandi.
Four people were killed and four others, including two police officers, injured after gunmen opened fire in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch on 26 July. Investigations continue.
