Grammy-winning South African singer Tyla has been named among the artists on the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album, a global compilation released to accompany the tournament.

Who and what

FIFA unveiled the album as a project that brings together artists from around the world in celebration of the upcoming World Cup. The organisation said fans can pre-save the album ahead of its official release on Friday, 5 June 2026.

Tyla’s contribution

Tyla appears on the album through a collaboration with American rapper Future on a track titled Game Time. The two artists officially released the song on Friday, 29 May 2026.

FIFA’s intent

FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the album as reflecting the diversity of football’s global fanbase. He said the project was designed to unite fans worldwide through music and football.

“From global superstars to breakthrough voices who are shaping the future of music, the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album features artists from across continents, languages and genres in a project designed to unite fans worldwide through the power of music and football,”

Live appearances during opening celebrations

Tyla’s involvement extends beyond the record: she is scheduled to perform at Estadio Azteca on 11 June and at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on 12 June, dates linked to the World Cup opening events.

Significance

The inclusion of Tyla on the official album and her performances during the opening celebrations mark further international milestones for the South African artist. The album’s release on 5 June 2026 gives fans worldwide access to the soundtrack for the tournament.
