JOHANNESBURG – In a decisive operation, Gauteng police thwarted a kidnapping attempt targeting a businessman from Benoni, leading to the arrest of nine suspects and the fatal shooting of another.

The dramatic incident unfolded on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in Ivory Park, where members of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, in collaboration with private security, acted on a tip-off about the syndicate’s plans.
