Black Coffee Marks Five-Year Relationship Milestone with Victoria Gonzalez

Published

on

The legendary South African musician Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo, is commemorating five years of dating Venezuelan model Victoria Gonzalez. The South African claims that the couple started dating in 2019—the year that Black Coffee’s well-known marriage to actress Enhle Mbali ended abruptly.

Despite initially keeping their relationship a secret, the two now seem more forthcoming, regularly posting glimpses of their shared lives on social media. Their most recent celebration was held in Milan, where they both shared sentimental posts and sophisticated photos to commemorate their five-year anniversary.

The DJ and Enhle Mbali’s breakup garnered a lot of media attention due to claims of abuse and invasions of privacy. Notwithstanding the chaos, Black Coffee has previously been open about the experience, saying in an interview that he still believes in love and even plans to get married again in the future—not out of need, but rather because he wants to learn more about what marriage really entails.

His relationship with Gonzalez now appears to be a reflection of that new perspective. Fans get a glimpse of what seems to be a grounded and loving relationship through the couple’s infrequent public appearances, such as their anniversary trip, even though they are still largely private.

It appears that the Grammy-winning DJ is finding balance in his personal life as he works to establish his worldwide brand.
