R37-million up for grabs in Lotto and Lotto Plus on Saturday 6 June 2026
Sizekhaya is offering R37 million in combined prizes for the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws on Saturday 6 June 2026, the operator’s second roll under new rules that increased the ticket price.
What’s on offer
The total pool for Saturday’s draws is split as follows: R22 million for Lotto, R2.5 million for Lotto Plus 1 and R13 million for Lotto Max 5.
Cost and rule changes
Under Sizekhaya the cost of a Lotto ticket has doubled to R5. Players must choose six different numbers between 1 and 52. There is an option to select numbers manually or use Quick Pick.
A new feature allows players to add one extra number, called MP1, at 7x the ticket price. Prizes are awarded to players who match at least three of the six drawn numbers, with jackpot shares going to players who match all six.
Odds and recent results
The odds of matching all six numbers under the new format are 1 in 20 358 520, which the source notes is roughly twice as favourable as the previous odds of about 1 in 40 475 358.
Wednesday’s draw on 3 June 2026 produced the following winning numbers:
- Lotto: 5, 8, 19, 30, 44, 46 MP1: 13
- Lotto Plus 1: 2, 28, 45, 49, 51, 52 MP1: 23
- Lotto 5 Max: 2, 4, 6, 25, 29, 42 MP1: 3
Context
The change of operator followed the end of ITHUBA at the end of May. Sizekhaya’s first roll under the new regime resulted in a R130-million PowerBall win. The operator says its model will produce more jackpot winners and less “rollover fatigue”.
How to play and claim winnings
Tickets can be bought in-store at licensed retailers or online by creating an account or via the mobile app.
To claim winnings players must be 18 years of age and present the winning ticket with the correct serial number, a valid proof of ID and a valid South African bank account. Winnings must be claimed within 365 days of the draw date. For further enquiries the source directs players to contact Sizekhaya.
Reminder
Players are advised to double-check their ticket numbers against official results.
