Wednesday 5 August 2026 brings a combined Lotto and Lotto Plus prize pool of R14 million for the next draw: Straight Lotto R7.5 million, Lotto Plus 1 R5 million and Lotto Plus Max 5 R1.5 million.

What’s on offer and how much it costs

The three-game total for Wednesday is R14 million. A standard Lotto board costs R5, with Lotto Plus 1 adding R2.50 and Lotto 5 Max a further R2.50, meaning playing all three together costs R10 per board.

MultiPlay (MP1) option

The new MultiPlay or MP1 option lets players add a seventh number to their existing six across the three games. Adding MP1 across all boards brings the total ticket price to R70 (broken down as R35 + R17.50 + R17.50).

Odds under the new game

• Mid-tier prizes (R5 000 to R49 999) can be claimed at selected partner banks.
• Prizes above R50 000 require an in-person visit to a Sizekhaya regional office with the original ticket and a valid South African ID.
• For online and banking-app players, prizes up to R249 999 are deposited automatically into their accounts.
