Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Black Coffee showcased a string of July highlights on Instagram, posting a carousel of moments that ranged from musical meet-ups to World Cup viewing and luxury travel scenes, according to IOL.

Friendship and music with Drake

According to IOL, Black Coffee shared images that captured a warm reunion with rapper Drake, showing the two embracing and signalling that their connection extends beyond past musical collaborations.

World Cup moments and a high-stakes DM

IOL reports Black Coffee spent time watching FIFA World Cup matches during the month. The outlet says Drake won a $770,000 (R13 million) bet on Canada to beat South Africa in the World Cup Round of 32 after being “chirped” in his direct messages by Black Coffee, which prompted Drake to raise the stakes.

Meeting Ye in Madrid

According to IOL, Black Coffee and Kanye West (Ye) met in person at Ye’s live show event in Madrid. IOL says they spent time together backstage and on the dance floor, and that Black Coffee shared concert moments and stories featuring Naomi Campbell and local DJ Shimza.

Family and friends at the concert

IOL reports that Black Coffee’s son Esona attended the Madrid concert with Black Coffee’s partner Victoria Gonzalez, and that the Instagram carousel included other personal and social highlights.

Luxury travel and lifestyle snapshots

IOL says the Instagram dump also showed scenes from Black Coffee’s travels, his private jet lifestyle, and watching Spain in the World Cup with his friend Shoba. One image reportedly showed a helicopter labelled Black Coffee Express, and another showed the DJ driving a boat.

Images from Black Coffee’s Instagram carousel included travel, backstage moments and luxury items, IOL reports.

According to IOL, he also shared a photo of an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak timepiece, which the outlet says is valued between R3 million and R3.5 million.

What the posts show

The Instagram carousel described by IOL presents a mix of professional and personal highlights: industry friendships, family presence at events, sports viewing and luxury travel imagery. The posts emphasise a busy month of appearances and moments captured on social media.
