Rachel Kolisi Opens Up About Growth, Healing, and Raising a Stronger Generation

Rachel Kolisi has shared her commitment to becoming a more positive role model for her children as she navigates personal growth and healing.

After enduring a difficult period, including her high-profile divorce from Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, Rachel has been focusing on self-improvement and embracing a more intentional approach to life.

In a recent interview on The O-Factor with Olwethu on Heart FM, she spoke candidly about her aspirations for the year ahead, emphasizing her dedication to showing love and appreciation to those closest to her.

Reflecting on her experiences after turning 35, Rachel acknowledged how her past has shaped her into the person she is today. She emphasized the importance of making mindful decisions and leading by example, especially for her children, Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7).

“As adults, we can’t control what happens to us in our childhood. Almost every individual walking this earth has some childhood heartache that lingers into adulthood. I believe that once we become adults, it’s our responsibility to address these issues in order to be better for our children and raise a generation that, while not necessarily trauma-free, will have a less traumatic childhood,” she said.

Rachel is determined to raise her children in a healthy and nurturing environment, free from unresolved trauma. She believes that by addressing her own childhood experiences, she can create a home filled with love and positivity, giving her children the best foundation to thrive.

Her openness about personal growth and healing highlights the responsibility parents have in shaping future generations, ensuring they are equipped with the emotional resilience and support needed to navigate life.https://www.joburgetc.com/culture-craze/rachel-kolisi-35th-birthday-celebration
