Eskom schedules 10-hour maintenance outage in Daveyton on 26 August

Eskom will interrupt electricity supply in parts of Daveyton for 10 hours on Wednesday, 26 August to carry out planned maintenance on the area’s distribution network, the utility said.

The outage is scheduled to run from 08:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday, 26 August. Eskom said the interruption will affect customers in Hlakwana, Kwena and Mabuya, and businesses including shops at Sqaureni and Daveyton Mall.

Eskom described the interruption as necessary to carry out essential maintenance on distribution power lines serving the area. The utility said the preventative work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain network reliability and to reduce the risk of unplanned outages in future.
