Tyla joins Bruno Mars as special guest for Australia and New Zealand leg of The Romantic Tour

South African singer Tyla will join Bruno Mars as a special guest on the Australia and New Zealand extension of The Romantic Tour, the tour’s organisers have announced.

Where and when she will perform

The newly announced shows will begin in Perth on February 13, 2027, and will move on to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland. Tyla will perform as a special guest throughout the Australia and New Zealand run.

Support line-up and special appearances

The announcement also confirmed that Anderson .Paak will appear on the newly added shows in his DJ guise, DJ Pee.Wee. The tour will include a special performance by Silk Sonic, the duo made up of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak.

Tour expansion and additional dates

The Australia and New Zealand extension is part of a wider expansion of The Romantic Tour. After those dates the tour will return to Asia, with shows planned in Singapore, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Manila and South Korea.

Organisers have also added a fifth show in Mexico City at Estadio GNP Seguros, scheduled for December 11, following strong demand.

The announcement places the Grammy-winning, Johannesburg-born singer on large international stadium stages alongside one of pop music’s major acts, offering her exposure to audiences across Australia and New Zealand.

Tickets for the newly announced dates are set to go on sale in September.
