Mia Le Roux sets October 16 wedding date, shares bridal-inspired photos

Le Roux posted the date on Instagram with a caption that reads:

“16.10.2026. The day we say ‘I DO.’”

The shoot, photographed at Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg, was styled to evoke an outdoor luxury wedding. In the images Le Roux wore a strapless white gown with a structured corset-style bodice, a flowing satin skirt and a short sparkling veil covering the top half of her face. Her fiancé wore a light grey suit with a white shirt.

Why the wedding matters to Le Roux

The couple became engaged in 2025. Le Roux has previously said that a health scare soon after her Miss SA 2024 crowning was one of the reasons she wants to marry Ten Oever. While celebrating her win, they noticed smoke coming from an elderly neighbour’s home and Ten Oever helped the woman and her pets to safety. Later that night he was emergency hospitalised for a stomach ulcer. According to the account Le Roux shared, he underwent surgery to remove part of his stomach and doctors were initially uncertain of his survival. Le Roux said the ordeal made her realise how precious life is and reinforced her reasons to marry him.
