Driving this enduring success is Chantel Channer, the dealer principal, who has skillfully steered the operations for the past two years. She attributes the dealership’s ongoing achievements to the unwavering dedication of her team, whose primary focus is consistently delivering exceptional service to their valued customers.
Chantel Channer’s own journey within the dealership is a testament to its commitment to nurturing talent from within. She started her career as a switchboard operator and steadily ascended the ranks to become a warranty clerk in the service department. In her own words, “During my 22 years of service, I have witnessed the evolution of our brand as it adapts to meet the ever-changing needs and desires of our valued clientele.”
Benoni Citi VW’s impressive track record includes being honoured as the recipient of the Dealer of the Year award on five occasions and receiving the club excellence award a remarkable eleven times. These accolades underscore the dealership’s dedication to maintaining the high standards of service that its customers have come to expect.
To commemorate its 30th anniversary, the dealership’s staff celebrated with a delectable red velvet cake. The honour of slicing the cake’s first piece was bestowed upon one of the dealership’s original staff members, Maria Moepi, in a heartwarming gesture that encapsulates the unity and history that has defined Benoni Citi VW’s remarkable journey.
