Two Gauteng Hospitals Accumulate a Combined R32 Million Debt to City Power

Helen Joseph Hospital and Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital collectively owe a combined R32 million to City Power. As per SABC News, the power utility’s spokesperson, Isaac Mangena, emphasised the importance of recovering this revenue to maintain essential services and necessary infrastructure for the city’s residents.

City Power is taking action to collect revenue from businesses and domestic customers. Their revenue protection team actively addresses defaulting accounts, stating they will not tolerate nonpayment.
