Imbumba Dance Group showcased their captivating talents at Theatre on the Square during an exceptional performance from Soweto with Smiles. The event featured a blend of local artists. From Soweto with Smiles unfolds as a coming-of-age story, delving into the challenges of a young man on the brink of adulthood and his pursuit of a life partner. Enriching the storyline are three female and one male vocalist whose song and dance performances capture the audience’s hearts. Desiree Levin, the writer and producer of the show, emphasised the collaborative nature of the script’s development.
