Recognising the critical and strategic nature of the CEO role within the organisation, the JRA board of directors, following the shareholder governance policy and rotation principle, unanimously agreed to designate Nyathi as the acting CEO. This appointment comes as the board of directors continues to carry out the disciplinary proceedings involving the current CEO, Tshepo Mahanuke.
