Mamelodi West twin boys found stabbed to death as police investigate

A murder investigation is underway in Mamelodi West after twin teenage boys were found stabbed to death inside their family home on Friday, 2 October.
The two 14-year-old boys were discovered inside a bedroom at a house in D6 near Moretele Park after their mother returned home from work, according to police and reports by The Citizen’s Rekord.
Police were called to the property after the boys were discovered.
Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said officers found the twins with multiple stab wounds inside a bedroom.
“The victims were found inside a bedroom with multiple stab wounds,”O said Nevhuhulwi.
eNCA also reported that the boys were both 14 and were found with multiple stab wounds after their mother returned from work on Friday.
No arrests had been made at the time of reporting, with detectives continuing their investigation to establish what happened inside the home and identify those responsible.
Nevhuhulwi has appealed to anyone who may have information that could assist investigators to come forward.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to establish the sequence of events surrounding the deaths.
