Three arrested men linked to the murder and robbery of a cyclist in November will return to the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Per Jacaranda FM, the suspects were apprehended after being found with two bicycles shortly after a robbery in Olifantsfontein. Police connected them to the killing of a 58-year-old cyclist, struck by a stray bullet during the robbery.
Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo stated, “The three suspects who were arrested and linked to cases of murder and robbery of a cyclist remain in custody after they were positively identified by three more cyclists who were robbed in Olifantsfontein recently.”
The suspects, now tied to 11 cases of murder and robbery of cyclists, are expected to appear at Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
