Video shows Tembisa thieves leap onto moving meat truck and steal stock in under 50 seconds

Surveillance footage captured two men boarding a moving meat delivery truck in Tembisa and removing portions of the load in under 50 seconds, according to The South African. The driver did not appear to notice the theft as the vehicle continued along its route.

What the footage shows

According to The South African, a camera mounted on the vehicle recorded two young men running alongside and then hopping onto the moving truck on Wednesday morning. The pair unlatched an unlocked cargo door and reached into the load.

According to The South African, one of the men leaned into the cargo area and pulled out what looks like at least a quarter of a cow, while the other held the door open. They then threw the meat onto the ground, closed the door and jumped off onto the road.
