The City of Tshwane is grappling with a water outage affecting TMPD offices and parts of the Central Business District (CBD). According to Jacaranda FM, the disruption resulted from a pipe burst in Marabastad caused by a contractor working in the area.
In response to the incident, a team of skilled artisans has been deployed to investigate the issue and work towards restoring this essential service, according to spokesperson Lindela Mashigo. While the estimated time for restoration remains unknown, the City of Tshwane is actively addressing the situation.
Simultaneously, another team of technicians is attending to a separate water leak affecting Sunnyside and nearby areas. Mashigo has stated that the repair timeline, in this case, is also yet to be determined.
As the City of Tshwane continues its efforts to rectify these water-related challenges, it advises residents to stay informed and exercise patience during restoration.
