Orlando Pirates reportedly close to announcing fifth signing, source says
Orlando Pirates are reportedly close to finalising a fifth signing ahead of the new season, according to The South African. The possible addition follows the club’s announcement of four new players.
Who is linked to the move
The player being linked with a move is Ivorian midfielder Cisse, who emerged as one of the most influential figures for Golden Arrows also known as Abafana Bes’thende during the 2025/26 campaign, according to The South African.
Transfer said to be completed, announcement pending
Sources close to the Durban-based side indicate the midfielder’s departure has been finalised and that only an official announcement remains outstanding, The South African reports.
“Cisse has signed with a new club. The deal is signed and sealed. The club will make an announcement,”
The publication attributes that quote to a source close to Golden Arrows who spoke to Kick Off, and says the comments have intensified speculation that Orlando Pirates have secured his services.
