Three Arrested in Soweto for Brutal Murder of Dr. Nic Procter

In the Dr Nicholas Procter murder case, Mbombela police achieved a significant breakthrough by apprehending three suspects in Protea Glen, Soweto.

According to IOL, the 40-year-old doctor reported missing on February 1, was later found deceased in an apartment at Green Valley, Mbombela.

Colonel Donald Mdhluli, Mpumalanga’s provincial police spokesperson, praised the investigators’ tireless efforts.

The suspects, aged between 20 and 38, are facing murder charges and awaiting trial at the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court.

Mpumalanga Commissioner of Police, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, commended the investigators’ professionalism. He noted that their dedication provided hope for the victim’s family.

The Mediclinic Nelspruit honoured Dr Procter’s memory, acknowledging his significant contributions to anaesthetics and describing his legacy as marked by an unwavering commitment to medicine and a no-nonsense approach.
