Amnesty International SA Calls for Global Intervention in Israel

The escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine has prompted Amnesty International South Africa to urge the global community to intervene. The recent attack by Hamas on Israel has resulted in numerous casualties and injuries on both sides.

Amnesty International South Africa spokesperson Genevieve Quintal stressed that both sides have violated human rights and committed war crimes by targeting civilians.

Quintal called on world leaders to step in and facilitate a resolution to minimise civilian harm.
