Eastern Cape police search for missing 14-year-old girl after alleged

Police in Gqeberha are appealing to the public for help in finding 14-year-old Allegra Styles, who has been missing since 8 October following an alleged argument with her boyfriend.

Walmer SAPS and the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit are investigating her disappearance after a family member reported her missing on Saturday, 10 October.

According to police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, Allegra was last seen at approximately 6pm on Thursday, 8 October.

She was reportedly wearing a beige top and blue jeans when she was last seen.

Teen reportedly went to a party in Kamma Park

Police were informed that Allegra had gone to Kamma Park to attend a party following an alleged altercation with her boyfriend.

The circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear. Police have confirmed that neither Allegra nor her boyfriend has been seen since.

Van Rensburg said officers had visited several addresses and contacted people known to the teenager in an effort to establish her whereabouts. However, these efforts have not yet led to her being found.

Police are urging anyone with information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
