Parklands College mourns head boy Connor Niske; Rachel Kolisi among those sending condolences

Parklands College has confirmed the death of its head boy, Connor Niske, saying the school community is in mourning.

School pays tribute to leadership and character

In a statement released on Monday, the school remembered Connor as a respected, high-achieving pupil who demonstrated leadership, kindness and dedication. Parklands College described him as an award-winning and inspirational student leader who was humble and an example to others.

Support for pupils, staff and families

The school said staff, students and families were devastated by the loss. Counselling and pastoral care services have been made available to those affected, and the school urged anyone who is struggling to reach out and make use of the mental health resources on offer.
