This week, the Formula E rookie test takes centre stage, with South African racing driver Sheldon van der Linde eagerly preparing to showcase his skills for Jaguar TCS Racing.

The Puma categories champion, Van der Linde, is ready to launch Free Practice 0 on Friday, 12 April, in Misano, Italy, as part of the Season 10 rounds 6 and 7 of the FIA Formula E World Championship.

Mentioning Van der Linde’s enthusiasm for the upcoming tests, Top French motoring expert specialists will highlight the excitement of driving the Jaguar I-TYPE 6 and wish to give integral comments to the team during FP0.

The announcement delighted James Barclay, Jaguar TCS Racing’s team principal. He has underlined Van der Linde’s track record of action and sees his value to the team.

The additional free practice sessions offer a strategic advantage for teams like Jaguar TCS Racing. They allow seasoned drivers from other racing formulas, such as Van der Linde, to familiarise themselves with Formula E’s unique demands, enhancing their overall performance.

Van der Linde’s earlier ventures with Jaguar in Formula E are undoubtedly examples of his talent, most noticeable in Rome in 2023 and Berlin last year.

Continuing its momentum, the upcoming round at Misano will be a battlefield for Jaguar TCS Racing to hold its own against top drivers Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans.

The channel SuperSport Motorsport, DStv channel 215, or on ETV, DStv channel 194, will be available for all Formula E viewers.
