Excitingly, South Africa will experience two Comic Cons in a single year for the first time, following the success of Comic Con Cape Town in April, according to reports from Tourism Update.

Carla Massmann, the Show Director of Comic Con Africa, expressed their enthusiasm in bringing Comic Con Africa 2023 to life, inspired by the overwhelming response received from Comic Con Cape Town. The passion and enthusiasm demonstrated by the fans in Cape Town serve as a testament to South Africans’ incredible zeal for pop culture and gaming. The goal is to create a world-class experience for attendees, reuniting all the communities once again.

The festival is scheduled to take place from 22nd to 25th September, with tickets already available for purchase. Ticket holders will have access to all the famous feature areas and content zones, including KidsCon, StreamerCon, StreetCon, Artist Alley, and more.
