Defaulters urged to settle accounts

City Power’s Hursthill Service Delivery Centre (SDC) recently hosted a customer day in collaboration with the local business forum as reported by Alberton Record.

The need for revenue collection to maintain critical electricity infrastructure was emphasized during the event.

Business owners raised concerns about prolonged outages during load-shedding and their willingness to partner with City Power to address infrastructure theft and vandalism.

The Hursthill SDC committed to increased support and expediting the installation of lights along the network line. City Power plans to roll out similar customer engagement programs to improve customer service.

Customers were encouraged to settle their accounts or enter into an agreement with the city to avoid being disconnected.
