Edenvale Youth Honoured on Third Anniversary of Fatal Car Crash
On the third anniversary of the fatal accident on Andries Pretorius Road, friends and family gathered to honour the lives of Lekisha Munro, James McFarlane, and Renato Dielo.

The memorial, marking the tragic single-vehicle collision on November 5, 2020, brought together community members who laid flowers and released messages on balloons in memory of the trio. Food parcels were distributed to attendees, urging them to donate to those in need, reflecting the passion for helping others that Lekisha, James, and Renato shared.
Despite the ongoing pain, the families continue to commemorate their children’s legacies, emphasising the importance of supporting one another in times of loss. The two-day memorial included activities at Child Welfare SA – Edenvale and Bedfordview, where contributions from various individuals and families were acknowledged with gratitude.
