Meadowlands Catholic church targeted by criminals

Unidentified men who stole valuable items robbed a Roman Catholic Church in Meadowlands. The Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Zone 4 was targeted, and the suspects managed to steal a laptop, a 55cm plasma TV screen, rosaries worth R1000, three gas cylinders, a vacuum cleaner, and the church’s electricity meter.

The suspects also took clothes that were collected to donate to the needy.

The church representative, Vusi Dlamini, has requested that anyone with information regarding the incident should come forward.

A case has been opened with the Meadowlands SAPS, but no arrests have been made yet.
