Formula Vee Team Gouws Motorsport Secures New and Returning Sponsors for 2025

Blairgowrie-based motorsport team Gouws Motorsport is gearing up for the 2025 season with a strong lineup of sponsors. Continuing their partnerships with Arcanjo Printer Repairs, Advanced Fastening Systems, IRCA Global, and JaCo Engineering, the team also welcomes Quaint Mettle Energy as their official fuel and oil supplier for the season.

The team will kick off their campaign at the Passion of Speed event on February 1 at Zwartkops Raceway, which will also celebrate the 60th anniversary of Formula Vee racing in South Africa.

Following their success in achieving the minimum allowed weight for their JForce Formula Vee race car in 2024, Gouws Motorsport has dedicated the off-season to refining every aspect of the car for optimal performance and reliability.

Driver Johan Gouws Jr emphasized the importance of strong qualifying performances. “Qualifying at the front of the grid is crucial in Formula Vee. It gives us the best chance to avoid unnecessary incidents and lets us focus on racing for podium finishes. We’ve worked hard to ensure the car is in peak condition for the upcoming season.”

The addition of Quaint Mettle Energy marks an exciting development for the team. “We’re thrilled to welcome Quaint Mettle Energy as a new partner for 2025,” said Gouws. “Their high-quality fuel and oil products will play a vital role in maximizing the car’s performance and reliability throughout the season.”
