Broader context
The published schedule notes that the Eastern Cape recently became the seventh province removed from load reduction schedules, and that 1.2 million customers or 71% of those originally affected now have stable power. It also states that Gauteng and KwaZulu‑Natal are the last provinces to remain on the programme and that Eskom is on track to eliminate load reduction completely by 2027.
What this means for residents
Residents in the listed suburbs should expect the specified morning and evening outage windows on the days shown. The schedule rotates across blocks so outages affect different areas on different days.
