Ivory Park Pool Complex Awaits Water Connection

The Ivory Park Swimming Pool complex, a much-anticipated multimillion project, is on the verge of completion, with only a water connection pending. Siyabonga Genu, the acting CEO of the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA), explains that the main water connection is the only remaining task as reported by Joburg Newsroom.

Once this connection is established with Joburg Water, the project will be ready for handover to the City of Johannesburg’s Community Development department in the coming weeks.

This facility, built at a cost of R43 million, includes an Olympic-style swimming pool, a splash pool, and various amenities, benefiting the communities of Ivory Park, Kaalfontein, and nearby areas.

The Ivory Park Swimming Pool complex will join the city’s extensive network of over 50 swimming pools across seven regions, providing a state-of-the-art venue for residents and competitions.
