Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster Named as BOSA’s Gauteng Premier Candidate

Build One South Africa (BOSA) declared Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster as the party’s premier candidate for Gauteng in an exciting development. Per Jacaranda FM, she steps forward to lead the party’s election campaign in the province ahead of the May 29 elections. Party leader Mmusi Maimane proudly announced Hlazo-Webster’s candidacy at an event hosted in Soweto on Tuesday. Hlazo-Webster, the co-founder of BOSA, now prepares to face the competition from incumbent ANC Premier Panyaza Lesufi, DA’s Solly Msimanga, RISE Mzansi’s Vuyiswa Ramokgopa, ActionSA’s Funzi Ngobeni, and the EFF’s Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.

For Maimane, the symbolism of her candidacy lay in the fact that real change should be effected in Gauteng since all people are after justice and safety. Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster promised in her speech to rebuild Gauteng into what it was, a land of great opportunities, where the people do not have to suffer from different social challenges. Under BOSA’s leadership, she dreams of Gauteng as a leading economic development and innovation driver. This goal is achieved by encouraging township economies and providing security for its residents. Through enthusiasm and resoluteness, Hlazo-Webster promised to transform Gauteng into an economic powerhouse where every home is accessible to employment and prosperity.
