The incidents occurred at about 01:30. Seven men with balaclavas entered the shopping complex, drawing high-calibre rifles to shoot to create a diversion while they went to target the ATMs. The leader and two of their members were at the head of these arrests. Within just 10 minutes, they removed five ATMs – one from FNB and the rest from ABSA and Capitec, respectively – the value of which the police do not yet know.

No one has been arrested yet, and the investigations are still ongoing, although as the authorities search for suspects, people were told that. Subsequently, he also appealed to members of society to act similarly by preserving any information, apprehending any perpetrators, being vigilant, and reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities.
