Isaac Mangena, the spokesperson, emphasised that if attacks on their technicians continue, they will not hesitate to terminate their services in ‘dangerous areas’. Mangena stated, “The two colleagues he was with are also receiving counseling. We cannot provide further details on the matter as it is now being handled by the police.”

The vehicle they travelled in was also found in Loli, at an informal settlement called Kokotela, but it was stripped. Mangena warned that when their teams are being threatened, the residents will suffer from electricity disruptions as they won’t be able to respond to incidents reported in those areas.
