Following the discovery of the mutilated bodies of two young boys in Rockville on Thursday, Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi has criticized the culture of lawlessness in the area and emphasized the need for law enforcement to operate around the clock as reported by Jacarandafm.

Speaking to reporters in Soweto on Thursday evening, Lesufi announced that the provincial government would invest in resources to track missing persons, citing the prevalence of women and children who go missing daily.

In addition, Lesufi said that the government would release 6,000 patrollers into communities beginning May 1 and has already procured up to 400 cars to support this initiative.
