Why did Nandipha Magudumana assist Thabo Bester?

Dr Nandipha Magudumana is a skilled medical doctor in aesthetics based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Despite her accomplishments, her reputation is on the line, and she faces jail time due to her connection with convicted felon Thabo Bester as reported by Briefly.

Nandipha and Thabo had known each other since 2006 and rekindled their relationship when she started visiting him in prison around 2017.

In 2022, she allegedly helped Thabo escape prison by stealing three bodies from mortuaries in the Free State.

They were arrested on 7th April 2023 while on the run in Tanzania, assisted by Zakaria Alberto, a Mozambican citizen.

Nandipha Magudumana holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of the Witwatersrand.

She founded Optimum Medical Aesthetics Solutions, an aesthetic and skincare clinic in Johannesburg.

Nandipha has two daughters and was previously married to Dr Mkhuseli Magudumana.
