The group will discuss further efforts to secure the release of Gerco van Deventer.
Dicko will return to Mali for further negotiations, and the feedback is positive.

The jihadist group has held Van Deventer captive for five years and six months for ransom.
The family has no money to pay, and the South African government does not pay ransom.
The Gift of the Givers aims for unconditional release and no ransom money. Shereen van Deventer expressed gratitude for their efforts.
