Eskom publishes Gauteng load reduction timetable for 27–31 July
Eskom published a Gauteng load reduction timetable for 27–31 July 2026, listing two daily outage windows and the suburbs affected each day.
Eskom has published a load reduction timetable for parts of Gauteng covering 27 to 31 July 2026, listing the suburbs and the two daily outage windows when power will be restricted.
Two daily windows, targeted high-usage areas
The timetable shows outages are scheduled in two daily windows: a morning slot between 5:00am and 9:00am and an evening slot between 5:00pm and 10:00pm. These measures are described by Eskom as targeting high-usage areas to protect infrastructure from overloading.
